Learn what you need to know about rights, about translations, about non-print versions, and about using a book to build a platform through social media. Learn tried and true methods from authors who have done it!

 

More Than  a Tanscript: Turning Your Preaching or Speaking into Writing - David Fessenden (1:00 - 2:00 pm)
Are you a preacher or teacher? Do you do public speaking of any sort? If so, you no doubt have wondered how to put the content of your messages, lectures, etc. into written form. This workshop helps you move beyond a mere transcript to a polished piece.
 

Writing a Stellar Book Proposal - Kevin Scott (2:15 - 3:15 pm)
You have a killer concept for a book, but you’re not sure how to convince your potential agent or publisher. In this workshop, learn the key components of a well-crafted, sure-to-impress book proposal, as well as some of the most common mistakes to avoid.

 

Publish Your Book - Jomo Johnson (3:30 - 4:30 pm)
Converting sermons into books is much more than simply putting a sermon into print. Learn the steps involved and how GGIS Publishing can help.
